March is flying by! I almost forgot about St. Patricks Day this year – I was so busy working on Easter crafts it just about slipped my mind. I was sharing some of my Spring Craft Ideas with the super creative and talented Miss Jenn (check out her blog Style & the Suburbs) when she reminded me it was this Friday and suggested I make one for St. Paddy’s day!
So I put this fun snowflake craft together. Since the east coast is getting pounded by the storm I guess the snowflake is still pretty appropriate. Just download the PDF St Patricks Day Snowflake Template and follow the instructions. Some helpful hints:
- If you can print the template in tagboard/cardstock. This will make it easier to trace onto your paper square
- Try and use tissue or lightweight paper for the snowflake. This makes cutting a lot easier and allows you to get all the details of the design.
- When cutting the rainbows, cut along all the curves and then bend them away from the snowflake to make for easy cutting.
I was able to snap a shot of this little pretty up in my window, what do you think?
Did you try this? Was it pretty easy to do? I’d love any feedback as well as any other fun snowflake ideas you may have. Just leave me a comment below. Don’t forget to sign up for the newsletter to stay up to date on all the newest posts!
